Jalpa is an Indian qualified lawyer having graduated in Commerce and law, practicing in Oman for the past 9 years. Prior to relocating to Oman, she was working with an IP specialised firm in India.
Recently she obtained her diploma in Personnel Development and training from CIPD, UK. She is a multipotentialite with over 18 years of combined experience in multiple fields: corporate law, legal research, marketing, brand building, events management, corporate launches & roadshows, client relationship & people management, tenders & contracts management, legal training, and academic tutoring.
Her experience as a corporate lawyer entail advising on commercial law, agency law, various aspects of labour law Real Estate, hospitality and tourism, IP, corporate structuring, due diligence. She holds extensive experience in reviewing and drafting all kinds of contracts such as construction contracts, tender documents, agency agreements, confidentiality, and non-disclosure agreements, and providing legal advice and comments from an Omani law perspective related to the issue.
Regular contributor of legal articles to Lexis Nexis, legal training sessions to university students and SME’s, marketing & brand promotion training to young Omani students. Recently she has been called by German University of Technology, Oman to teach module of law to MBA program and for under-graduate course.
