Jamal has been a Sultanate of Oman qualified lawyer for nearly 15 years. After earning his law degree in 2004 from Sharjah University, Jamal began his legal career with the prominent AMJ firm in 2005. Jamal’s practice experience includes senior-level positions with premier international and regional law firms. Prior to deciding to found his own firm, Jamal was Senior Counsel with Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP.

Jamal chairs the firm’s Disputes Resolution Group. His practice focuses on “big ticket” complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with particular emphasis on commercial and construction-related matters, for both public and private sector projects. He has served as an arbitrator or counsel in over 150 contentious matters involving construction, commercial, real estate, insurance, contractor disputes, and civil claims handling issues between contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and architects.
